Licensing line national project - update

In previous editions of Licensing line news updates have been included on what work has been undertaken by the project secretariat to transition the delivery of licence classes to the vocational education and training sector.

To oversee and monitor the transition process a working group of key stakeholders was established in December 2002. Representation on the group is made up of occupational health and safety regulatory authorities, state training authorities, industry training advisory bodies, employer and employee associations.

This special edition focuses on the work that has been undertaken by the transition working group and in particular, the upcoming pubic forums to promote the report Road to Transition-Improved pathways for operator certification.
