Licensing Line News online seminars
This month Licensing Line News will commence its online seminar series. The aim of the series is to provide in depth coverage of key licensing and training issues. The seminars are an opportunity for training and licensing stakeholders to discuss the issues with experts on the topics.
These FREE seminars will be conducted June and July commencing with the following two informative sessions:
Session one - TLI07 Transport and Logistics Training Package and licensing
Tuesday 15 June
10:00am-11:00 am (AEST)
Description
This session will be on the TLI07 Transport and Logistics Training Package. The session will focus on recent updates to the package to include licensing units of competency covering heavy vehicles, dangerous goods and taxi driving. The high risk licensing units of competency in the package will also be discussed. Overall, the session will provide a useful overview of TLI07 for all stakeholders involved in training delivery for a licensing outcome.

Session two - E-learning for licensing

Description
This session will provide an overview of e-learning in Australia and discuss the type of e-learning tools and resources which are available to support training delivery to meet licensing and regulatory requirements. The session will feature demonstrations of current e-learning resources supporting licensed trade areas and provide case studies of training organisations and industries using e-learning to train in licensed occupational areas.
