Farewell from Licensing Line News
This is the penultimate edition of Licensing Line News
Licensing Line News grew out of a series of licensing projects in 2001 and has been Australia's foremost source of information for training and industry stakeholders about occupational licensing/regulation and its intersection with the vocational education and training (VET) system.
Licensing Line News produced a monthly e-newsletter, maintained an information website and conducted online workshops to provide a direct link between licensing/regulatory authorities and training stakeholders, to promote and implement the COAG licensing harmonisation agenda.
At its end in June 2011 it had more than 6500 direct subscribers to its newsletter and an average 18,000 visits to its website each month.
A commemmorative edition of the newsletter, Edition 90, will be produced shortly highlighting the successes and achievements of Licensing Line projects over the years.
The website will be maintained in a static state until 2012, with no updates or newsletters being added. Visitors will still be able to access previous editions and all the other resources on the site until it is decommissioned.
Thanks to all the staff who have contributed over theyears, our advisory committee and our readers from the Licensing Line News team.
