Insulation review report released

The Australian Government has released the Review of the Administration of the Home Insulation Program prepared by Dr Allan Hawke.

The review examined and reported on the effectiveness of the Home Insulation Program's:

  • design
  • administration
  • delivery arrangements.

One of the conclusions reached by Dr Hawke was that for the Australian Government to recommence a successful insulation program it would, in part, require implementation of a strong and consistent regulatory framework across the states and territories, building on the  South Australian licensing regime for insulation installers.
