Australia's best apprentices step up at WorldSkills

Australia's best and bright trainees and apprentices have shown off their skills at the 2010 WorldSkills Australia National Competition in Brisbane.

With medals on offer in 48 categories over the four-days, competition was fierce among the 500 competitors in the 2010 WorldSkills competition.

The competition saw Australia's best apprentices, trainees and students in industry areas from electrical installations to floristry working under pressure in realistic industry environments to perform at their best.

The 2010 WorldSkills competition medal winners are in the running for selection in the Australian team to compete at the International WorldSkills competition in London in 2011.
