Extension of loadshifting course in Queensland
The Queensland Department of Education and Training has extended the accreditation of 30496QLD Course in Operating Loadshifting Equipment until 30/3/2011.
The units of competency from this course are required by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland to meet the requirements for a number of earthmoving and loadshifting licences in Queensland.
Those units in the course which relate to the operation of forklifts and cranes will be superseded by the corresponding high risk work licensing units of competency in the Transport and Logistics Training Package, when those units are adopted for licensing purposes by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland.
