Qld building licensee information sessions - Queensland
The Queensland Building Services Authority is holding a series of 'SuperShows' at locations across Queensland covering several topics relevant to licensees including information on fire occupational licensing.
The SuperShows are for all licensees, especially first year licensees and licensees in carpentry, concreting and brick and block laying trades.
Information is delivered by DVD and industry experts and covers common technical defects, new standards and regulations and provides demonstrations of best practice methods on each topic.
A new segment will be run to assist new licensees and 4th year apprentices understand the role of BSA and CSQ and develop and maintain practical business plans.
To be run in conjunction with the SuperShows will be fire occupational licensing seminars. These seminars will explain the concept of fire occupational licensing and why it is needed, who is required to hold a fire occupational licence and when the occupational licensing commences. This session will fully and clearly explain all your fire occupational licensing questions and endeavour to bust the myths surrounding this new licensing structure.
