Shotfiring resources released

New training and assessment materials have been developed to support all Surface and Metalliferous Underground Shotfiring and Coal Underground Shotfiring units in the RII09 Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package.

The Shotfiring Training Program has been developed by SkillsDMC, in conjunction with the NSW Department of Education and Training, to provide the knowledge and skills necessary towards obtaining a shotfirer's licence in the Mining, Quarrying and Civil Construction industries.

The materials for each stream include two general guides-one for trainers and assessors, and a guide for learners.
