National farm safety conference - Western Australia

The National Farm Health and Safety Conference will be held at The Vines Resort in the Swan Valley, Western Australia, from 13-15 October 2009.

This year's conference will build on the previous theme, Leading Change, by providing the attendees with the opportunity to discuss what is happening in rural enterprises and to encourage organisations to move forward with changing the safety culture in farming.

The conference is aimed at farmers, farmer organisations, farm health and safety professionals, consultants, education, workplace health and safety organisations and researchers.

The conference will focus on:

  • renewing energy and commitment to farm health and safety
  • learning the latest on what works in farm health and safety
  • learning practical ways to improve farm health and safety promotion and activities.

The program is diverse with quality presenters and topics which will inspire, inform and entertain.
