WorkSafe WA has released updated guidance information on construction induction training to assist stakeholders in meeting the requirements of the new regulations which came into effect in Western Australia on
1 August 2009.
The Occupational Safety and Health Regulations (1996) have changed to reflect the national approach to construction induction training endorsed by industry Australia wide.
The industry guidance document and the regulation change summary detail relevant information regarding the introduction of CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry as the training requirement for construction induction in WA.
