Paper on loadshifting management in NSW

WorkCover New South Wales has released a cost benefit analysis for the preferred option for the management of loadshifting classes, other than Forklift, in New South Wales.

This analysis is based on the outcomes of a previous discussion paper on the future management of loadshifting classes in NSW, which examined three different options.

All three options proposed have since been assessed for their impact on government, industry and the community, including the positives and negatives of pursuing one option over another and are detailed in the analysis paper.

A public comment period will run for a six-week period from 20 April to 29 May 2009.

WorkCover NSW strongly encourages all stakeholders to review paper and provide comments on the preferred option. Submission or comment can be submitted as an organisation.

The closing date for submissions is 29 May 2009.
