Dangerous goods licensing training package alignment

The Transport and Logistics Industry Skills Council is seeking comment on a draft unit of competency covering dangerous good licensing for inclusion in the TLI07 Transport and Logistics Training Package.

The draft unit is based on the accredited course 30744QLD Course in the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road which was jointly developed by Dangerous Goods Competent Authorities across Australia to harmonise training arrangements for licensing in concert with the introduction of the seventh edition of the Australian Dangerous Goods (ADG7) code.

This unit is for those drivers wishing to obtain their Dangerous Goods Licence and meet the skills and knowledge level required by the relevant licensing and regulatory bodies.
