COAG reform agenda implementation report released

The Council of Australian Governments (COAG)considered the Reform Council�s 2009 Report on Implementation of the National Reform Agenda at its meeting in Hobart on 30 April 2009.
The Report provides a snapshot of progress against the seven reforms referred to the COAG Reform Council in April 2007 as well as following up on the recommendations in the Council�s 2008 Report.
The reform areas are:
- electricity smart meters
- energy market reforms
- transport pricing reforms
- rail safety regulation
- national trade measurement
- building regulation reform
- infrastructure regulation.
