TAA Assessor Guides now available

Trainers and assessors delivering the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are now able to purchase newly developed TAA04 Assessor Guides.

Available for purchase through TVET Australia Product Services, the guides are the first of their kind.

These new resources form companion volumes to the Learner Guides recently developed by Shea Business Consulting. The Assessor Guides that comprise this new suite of resources address employability skills and fully support the revised TAA04 Training Package (v2.1).

Each Assessor Guide includes diagnostic, formative and summative tools, templates and checklists to support assessors in gathering evidence and making judgements of competence against the core and elective units in the TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and the Enterprise Trainer and Assessor Skill Sets.

Like the Learner Guides, these assessor resources have been specially developed to provide trainers and assessors with strategies to maintain compliance with AQTF 2007 requirements.

The Assessor Guides may be purchased by field and include a CD of the assessment tools as PDF files, and also in Word format for ease of customisation. The list of Assessor Guides includes the following:
