Licensing Line News welcomes you back in 2009

Licensing Line News is back for 2009 bigger and better than ever.

This year is shaping as a busy year for the integration of occupational licensing into vocational education and training. To keep up to date make sure you and your colleagues are subscribed to Licensing Line News.

We will continue to provide you with the most up to date information to support you and your business.

Licensing Line News will be covering all the key issues in 2009, including:

  • the inclusion of units of competency covering high risk work licensing and construction induction into National Training Packages
  • work to establish the National Licensing System
  • work to identify and develop units of competency, qualifications and skills sets across industry areas which meet occupational licensing and regulatory requirements
  • updates on ministerial declarations in regard to mutual recognition of occupational licences
  • the establishment of nationally consistent security provider regulations
  • the continuation of work to establish model national occupational health and safety laws
  • the establishment of Safe Work Australia.

With all of these issues and more, Licensing Line News will be there to ensure that you are informed of developments as and when they happen. We will endeavour to help you understand any new arrangements and help you to work through any new processes which come into effect.

This year we are implementing more dynamic ways to make the information more accessible to you. These changes include:

  • regular online seminars and workshops
  • a greater presence at conferences and forums
  • website enhancements
  • newsletter enhancements.

We will also be encouraging you to help us reach other licensing and training stakeholders who would find Licensing Line News a valuable resource. We will be holding subscriber prizes draws and subscriber referrals giveaways throughout the year.
