Construction induction resources released


A suite of resources to support the delivery of the new national construction induction unit of competency, CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry, have been released by Easy Guides Australia.

The general construction induction unit aims to provide people with a basic knowledge of occupational health and safety legislative requirements, principals of risk management and the prevention of injury and illness in the construction industry.

The Construction Induction Start Up Pack developed includes:

  • 10 x learner workbooks
  • 1 x trainers guide
  • 1 x PowerPoint Presentation/Trainer Resource CD.

The learner workbook is aligned to the unit of competency�s Performance Criteria and done so in an easy to understand style of text and images. Review questions are included at the end of each Element which will assist learners in making sure they have understood the information given. The workbook also includes a glossary of terms, a course feedback form and a record of training sheet.

The trainer's guide mirrors the learner workbook with the addition of the answers to each Element's review questions. It includes mapping of the Elements and Employability Skills along with suggestions for training.

The PowerPoint presentation works alongside the workbook and has many added features that a trainer will find invaluable. Suited to both group and individual training, the presentation has a 52 question quiz that prepares the learners for the final Assessment Instrument Test.
