Community Services Training Package implementation forums - National
The Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council will be facilitating a series of one-day Forums to support the implementation of the new CHC08 Community Services Training Package.
Implementation forums will be held in all cities across
The key outcomes from the forums include:
- finding out about major changes and shifts since the CHC02 Training Package and gain an industry perspective on best practice implementation
- understanding new developments and approaches in terminology, structure and application of the qualifications and competencies
- learning about skills sets developed by industry to promote lateral movement and multi-skilling of the workforce, and how they should be implemented
- attaining an industry-informed understanding of specific areas of the training package through individual workshops on:
- individual client services
- community services and development
- children's and youth services
- client services including community coordination and management
- chronic disease and self management
- Skill Sets.
Facilitators will provide significant insight into the training package as it relates to each state or territory and the community services and health workforce as a whole.
