QLD RTO conference - Gold Coast

The Queensland Department of Education, Training and the Arts will be hosting a major event for registered training organisations in March 2009.

The Partners in Smart Training and Assessment Conference to on the Gold Coast from 26 - 27 March has been designed to appeal to those engaged in all areas of vocational education and training, from executives, educational managers and quality managers to trainer and assessor practitioners.

The event will feature motivational speakers including well known demographer Bernard Salt, training and assessment specialists, a broad range of interactive workshops and trade displays.

Topics to be covered by keynote speakers will include cultural change, quality entrepreneurship, regulation with a client focus, assessment and learning, and reform in the VET sector. The plenary program will also feature cameo sessions from assessment practitioners and those who optimise their links with industry.

The conference program is now online on the conference website.

A limited number of trade stands can be booked and businesses also have the chance to supply promotional products for inclusion in conference satchels, which each attendee will receive.
