Automotive Training Package (AUM08) endorsed

The Automotive Manufacturing Training Package (AUM08) has been endorsed by the National Quality Council.

The training package covers passenger motor vehicle (PMV) manufacture and bus, truck and trailer (BT and T) manufacture and assembly.

Changes in the new package from the previously endorsed Automotive Manufacturing Training Package (AUM00) include:

• the creation of the following new qualifications:
  • Certificate I in Automotive Manufacturing (AUM10108)
  • Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing PMV - Manufacturing Specialist (AUM30108)
  • Certificate IV in Automotive Manufacturing - Automotive Development (AUM40108)
  • Diploma of Automotive Manufacturing - Automotive Development (AUM50108)
• the revision of the following qualifications in line with industry requirements:
  • Certificate II in Automotive Manufacturing (PMV) (AUM20108)
  • Certificate II in Automotive Manufacturing (BT and T) (AUM25108)
  • Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing (BT and T) (AUM35108)
  • Certificate IV in Automotive Manufacturing (BT and T) (AUM45108).
