VETnetwork national conference - Sydney

VETnetwork Australia, the peak body supporting vocational education in schools in Australia, will hold its biannual conference in Sydney from 2-4 October.

The 2008 conference will bring together vocational education and training practitioners from senior secondary schools and colleges, career and enterprise educators, training organisations, university academics, researchers, policy developers, consultants, community programs and industry.

The theme for the 2008 conference is 'Connections, Capacity and Collaboration'. The focus will be on pedagogy, strategies for real life learning, case studies and partnerships.

The two and a half day national conference is designed to inform and inspire a critical mass of people within the vocational education and training environment to embrace change, explore innovation, achieve success and celebrate enterprise.
