Symposium to discuss training delivery in remote and rural Australia - Darwin
A special symposium to discuss issues around building and sustaining skills development in rural and remote areas through the vocational education and training (VET) system will be held in Darwin on 18 and 19 November.
The symposium, hosted by the Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council (CSHISC), will bring together a range of influential stakeholders from industry and VET.
The discussion will focus on meeting industry demand for skills development in the bush as well as examining the Commonwealth Government's Skilling Australia for the future policy and its ability to deliver real outcomes for rural and remote community services and health industry enterprises.
CSHISC is inviting enterprises, unions, government departments, registered training organisations, job networks provides, Australian Apprenticeship Centres and all other interested stakeholders to join the symposium.
