The Queensland Department of Education, Training and the Arts has launched a new website dedicated to the professional development of the state's vocational education and training (VET) workforce.
The website outlines the state�s commitment to professional development within the VET sector and describes the roles and responsibilities held by the sector, training organisations and individuals.
The website also provides users with practical information in the form of resources and research to help practitioners improve in the areas of:
- teaching, learning and assessment
- industry currency
- leadership
- quality improvement.
The website aims to build on the achievements of the existing professional development programs and strategies to improve the way that programs, activities and resources are accessed and advertised throughout Queensland.
