Manufacturing Skills Australia conference - Sydney


A national conference looking at what today's training environment means for the manufacturing industries will be held in Sydney on 29 October.

Hosted by Manufacturing Skills Australia, the national industry skills council for the manufacturing industry, the conference will discuss the current and future skills issues facing this industry area.

The conference program features a number of keynote speakers including:

  • Minister for Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, Julia Gillard (invited)
  • Australian Industry Group Chief Executive, Heather Ridout
  • Skills Australia Chair, Philip Bullock
  • Australian Council of Trades Unions President, Sharan Burrow
