Funeral Services Training Package endorsed

The new Funeral Services Training Package (SIF08) has been endorsed.

The new package replaces the old Funeral Services Training Package (WFS02).

The Funeral Services Training Package is the national framework for skills development for the funeral services industry. It includes nationally recognised units of competency and qualifications to train and assess individuals in a range of funeral services skills and occupations, including those employed in funeral directing, embalming, cemeteries and crematoria, grave digging, grounds and maintenance, and coffin/casket manufacture.
