![]() |
Workplace Standards Tasmania has released an updated guide to High Risk Work Licensing in Tasmania.
The guide, High Risk Work Licensing in Tasmania (GB101), replaces Industrial Equipment Requiring an OHS Certificate of Competency to Use or Operate (GB101).
The updated version covers new licensing requirements and the move away from certificates of competency.
This guide provides:
- descriptions of the high risk work that requires a statutory licence (licence to perform high risk work)
- descriptions of the nationally-uniform licence classes issued in Tasmania
- details of the general circumstances where licences are not required
- information on transitional arrangements for holders of certificates of competency that were issued before 31 October 2007.
