Private trade RTO advisory group to be formed

The Queensland and Northern Territory secretariats of the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) are calling for expressions of interest to join its proposed Industry Productivity Focus Group.

The group will champion issues which affect private registered training organisations delivering in trade areas such as plumbing, construction and electrical.

As the national industry association for independent providers of post-compulsory education and training, ACPET is well positioned to assist providers in these areas and to act as a conduit to the government on relevant issues including licensing related matters.

The group will initially be focused on Queensland and the Northern Territory, but could expand nationally in the future.
