Occupational health and safety conference - Cairns

The Safety Institute of Australia (Queensland/Northern Territory Division) is hosting the 16th annual Occupational Health and Safety Conference which will be held from 12-14 November 2008 in Cairns.

The conference will feature presentation exploring a range of health and safety issues with the program putting emphasis on achieving the national occupational health and safety priorities outlined by the Australian Safety and Compensation Council (ASCC).

This year, the program has been specifically designed to provide a variety of experiences for delegates. In particular, the organisers aim to provide a stimulating mix of keynote speakers, presentations from industry and interactive workshops.
