EE-Oz national conference - Hobart

EE-Oz Australia, the national industry skills council for the electrotechology, communications and energy utilities industries, will be holding its national conference on 20 and 21 October in Hobart.

The conference will have sessions focusing on:

  • workforce development and training
  • the state of the industry
  • industry sector workshops
  • safety, licensing and regulation
  • national Training Package support resources.

The conference will bring together key stakeholder groups involved in training requirements for people involved in the electrotechology, communications and energy utilities industries.

The safety, licensing and regulation stream of the conference will feature the following presentations:

  • New wiring rules and 66 essential capabilities
  • ARTIC, split systems and natural refrigerants
  • ENA National Framework for Energy Safety and Industry Skills Passport
  • Generation Industry response to Government's 'Clean Energy' Initiatives.
