Comments sought on TAFE governance in Qld

The Queensland Department of Education, Training and the Arts has released a consultation paper on the future governance model for the Queensland TAFE system.

The paper comes after comprehensive research and consultation. It documents the important considerations for the future of TAFE governance, presents various models and recommends a specific governance model to meet Queensland's future training needs.

The department welcomes comments on the recommended model from anyone in the community with an interest in vocational education and training.

Responses should be received by Monday 1 September 2008. Please refer to the paper for guidelines on making a submission.
