AQTF continuous improvement workshops - national

The Voc Ed Learning Group will be running workshops across the country on assessment validation and survey writing during October and November 2008.

The workshops are designed for registered training organisation staff. The workshops will assist RTOs to implement continuous improvement practices and processes and increase staff awareness of these two important approaches, as they apply to the AQTF 2007 Essential Standards for Registration.

The assessment validation workshop will:

  • define the purpose and benefits of assessment validation
  • clarify opportunities for engaging industry in assessment validation
  • identify a process for assessment validation
  • explain the requirements for documentation and record keeping.

The survey writing workshop will:

  • define the purpose and benefits of effective survey design
  • develop an understanding of survey design
  • identify a survey design process
  • determine if the RTO's current surveys are effective for their target audience.
