Private training provider conference - Hobart

The Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) is holding its annual conference in Hobart from 28-30 August.

ACPET, which is the national industry association for independent providers of post-compulsory education and training, aims to enhance quality, choice, innovation and diversity in Australian education and training for individual, national and global development.

The conference which is themed 'Creating new futures: Challenges for today, strategies for tomorrow', has a strong and diverse program which will feature a range of informative plenary and workshop sessions.

Some of the topics to be covered include:

  • the future of private education and training
  • new research results and trends
  • new business models
  • Generation Y
  • best practices in private education delivery in Australia and globally
  • business and industry challenges.

Renowned futurist, Peter Sheahan, will facilitate a workshop on 'Creating a new generation of educational leaders', which will provide future-focused strategies for continuing to build successful education through courageous leadership, innovation and change.
