New agreement for verifying Chinese vocational qualifications

Under a new agreement, VETASSESS will soon be able to verify vocational qualifications from the People's Republic of China. The agreement was reached as a result of the success of the current VETASSESS Chinese qualification verification service.

Representatives from VETASSESS visited China recently at the invitation of government authorities to discuss opportunities in assessment and qualification verification.

The People's Republic of China has become one of the biggest exporters of international students and skilled workers. It also attracts hundreds of thousands of students, as well as skilled workers and professionals from other countries. The influx means that government agencies and other organisations in China are keen to improve access to mutual recognition of qualifications and skills in both academic and trade areas.

The new agreement means the existing Chinese qualification verification service will be enhanced, allowing interested persons and organisations to use the service to verify vocational, as well as academic, qualifications.
