New Tasmanian website to highlight incentives for skill development

The Tasmanian Department of Education has created a website designed to highlight incentives for skill development.

The website provides information on financial incentives available to students, including apprentices and trainees, and to businesses that employ apprentices and trainees. Information is grouped into Tasmanian Incentives, Commonwealth Incentives and other.

Employers, students, apprentices, trainees and other organisations will be able to use the site to access information regarding available training subsidies.

The website can be found at www.education.tas.gov.au (Select 'Vocational education & training'> 'For Students & Apprentices/Trainees'> 'Support for apprentices/trainees'> 'Training subsidies available to individuals and employers').
