Packaged liquor review in Victoria

The Liquor Control Advisory Council is considering a request from the Minister for Consumer Affairs to assess and report on the regulatory regime for the sale of packaged liquor in Victoria.

The Council will pay particular attention to ways of minimising harm from the misuse and abuse of alcohol and best meeting the expectations of the community.

The Council has released an issues paper and is inviting emailed or written submissions from individuals and organisations addressing any matter related to the terms of reference.

The closing date for submissions is Monday 23 April 2007.
